Tomato slices: Provides freshness and a light spicy flavor to balance the creamy and spicy flavors.

Peri Peri Masala: Peri peri masala adds a nice spicy flavor that can be adjusted to your taste.

Hanging Curd Sauce: Improves overall taste. And it makes this dish healthy.

  • 400 GM Paneer
  • 1 teaspoon Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic
  • Hanging curd sauce as necessary
  • Peri Peri Masala as necessary
  • Vegetable oil or butter for grilling or roasting
  • Heat a grill pan or a regular pan or wok and add the oil. Once the oil is hot, add the chopped garlic and paneer pieces and sauté until golden brown.

  • Now add the peri peri masala and mix quickly. Quick and easy paneer stuffing is ready.

  • Cut the pita bread in half or less depending on your choice. For this particular recipe I preferred to cut a small portion from the sides and put it back in the larger part to then fill it.

  • Then open the mouth of the cut pita and spread some hanging curd, put some mozzarella, keep some paneer pieces and tomato slices.

  • Now heat a grill pan or a regular tawa or pan.

  • Add a little olive oil, vegetable oil or butter.

  • Grill or toast the paneer stuffed pita bread on both sides and enjoy.
