Burnt Garlic Veg Fried Rice Recipe

  • To start preparing the Burnt Garlic Vegetable Fried Rice recipe, cook the rice in the pressure cooker with 2 cups of water for about 2 whistles and then turn off the cooker.

  • Heat a wok with oil, add garlic, ginger and let it soften. Add onions and fry until they become translucent.

  • Add the carrot and cook for about 10 minutes until the carrot softens. Add all the peppers and sauté until they become soft.

  • Add all the Chinese sauces along with salt and pepper. Mix well, add the cooked rice in the wok and stir-fry until the rice is well coated.

  • Check the salt, sprinkle with the spring onions and give it a final stir.

  • In a small pan, heat the oil and add the diced garlic. Fry until it turns dark brown. Pour half of the burnt garlic into the rice and mix well.

  • Just before serving, garnish with the remaining burnt garlic and spring onions.
