Haryanvi Saag Gosht Recipe

  • To start making Haryanvi Saag Gosht recipe, grind onion, dry red chilli, green chilli, garlic and ginger together to make a smooth paste. Blanch the spinach and grind it into a paste.

  • Heat the oil in a pan and add the mustard. Once it starts to crackle, add the cumin seeds to the pan and let them crackle.

  • Now add spice paste to pan, cook it for 5 minutes. Then add coriander powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, red chillies, salt and chicken pieces and mix everything well. Cook for 4-5 minutes.

  • Then add chopped tomatoes and spinach paste, mix and cook until you see oil on the sides.

  • Add a little water and cook until the chicken is tender. Serve it hot.

  • Serve Haryanvi Saag Gosht along with Tawa Paratha and Jeera Rice for your weekend meal.
