When I want to whip up a quick dinner on busy weekdays, I love making these easy air fryer shrimp that come out perfectly every time.

Shrimp is one of my favorite dishes for a quick weeknight meal and air frying is one of my favorite ways to prepare it! These no-breading air-fried shrimp are ready in less than 10 minutes and great in bowls, salads or as a main course served with vegetables. Ingredients for Air Fryer Shrimp

  • Shrimp: Peel and develop 32 giant prawns.
  • Spices: Garlic powder, sweet paprika, dried parsley, salt
  • Olive oil: Stir in two tablespoons of oil with the spices.
  • Lemon wedges To serve

How long to fry shrimp

  • Spice mix: Combine the spices with the oil and then add the prawns.
  • Air frying: Arrange the raw shrimp in a single layer in the basket. If they don't all fit, you may need to make another batch. Air fry them at 400°F for five to six minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.

What to Serve with Air Fryer Shrimp

How to store shrimp

Store leftover shrimp in airtight containers for three to four days in the refrigerator. You can eat them cold or reheat them in the microwave for 30 seconds.

Variations:

  • Shrimp: To save time, you can purchase fresh or frozen shrimp that are already peeled and cleaned. If using frozen shrimp, thaw them before adding the spices.
  • Spices: Switch up the spices for your favorite store-bought mixes, like Old Bay or Tajin, or make your own combination. Add onion powder or replace parsley with oregano.
  • No air fryer? No problem! Cook them in a pan for about three minutes on each side.

  • Air fryer (I use GoWise to test all my recipes!)
  • Mix the oil with the spices in a medium bowl.
  • Add the shrimp and toss well with the seasoning mixture on both sides to coat.

  • Arrange the shrimp air fryer bin in a single layer, in batches as needed.
  • Air fry at 400°F for 5-6 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.

  • Serve with lemon wedges.
